I leased a 2016 ford cmax with michelin energy tires. 300 miles right front tire completely desinagrated. 1800 miles left rear tire blew out. Don't dare to drive this car with these tires. Dealer is paying the cost to replace all 4 tires. Unfortunately they are replacing the tires with the same brand.

My new Chevy came with four brand new Michelin tires. With less than 18,000 miles and perfect tread all four have extreme dry rot. I took my car to five different tire dealers and they all said they were defective tires and they've never seen anything like it. They all insisted I contact Michelin and get a credit toward some new tires. I think you know the rest of the story. Michelin did nothing. I'm just glad I got an oil change and the... Read more

DO NOT BUY MICHELIN or their PRODUCT LINE !! You : This is the follow up / current situation in dealing with these *** tires on my truck, that could have killed me and dealing with Michelin, whom I previously expressed was being so upright and honorable. Michelin tricked me into believing these were not their tire, although Sport King A/T is a "Medalist" tire and therefor, is Michelin. They made this pos in Korea and are trying to avoid... Read more

HAVE 4 MICHELIN TIRES THAT CAME WITH THE LEASE ON A 2014 ATS. WITHIN 1 YEAR AND 5,500 MILE 4 TIRES FAILED DUE TO SEPERATION OF THE SIDEWALL FROM THE RIM. MICHELIN REFUSES TO WARRANT THE TIRES AND THE DEALER CLAIMS IT IT IS MICHELIN'S PROBLEM AND LEAVES THE CONSUMER PAYING $1200 FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIALS. CALLED MICHELIN 5-6 TIMES WITHOUT RESOLUTION. THEN REQUESTED THE INVOICES, SENT THEM THE INVOICES STILL NO ACTION. TOOK THE CUSTOMER CARE... Read more

I also bought 4 of these Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires and within 7 months the sidewalls showed signs of dry rot. They look worse than a ten year old tire! Michelin calls it "ozone cracking." They say it doesn't compromise the integrity of the tire. These cracks, which they say are superficial, follow the bead the whole way around the rim and all over the sidewall. My State Inspection mechanic noted on my receipt "I HIGHLY recommended the... Read more

Michellin Tires: I had a set of four Michelin tire on my Chevy Van. They all had plenty of treadwear left on each tire. One day while driving at 55-60 mph the tread on the left rear tire unwound from the side walls on both sides. The tread wrapped around the axle housing, with the result that the wheel locked up and stopped turning. This caused the van to start to spin on the freeway. It was all I could do to maintain control. The photo shows... Read more

We are demanding a reimbursement on a defective tire. We Were stranded in Louisiana for a night due to the tire going bad and after over 3 hours on phone we were told to do what we needed and we would be reimbursed the cost of tire. Well they couldn't find it and we were going have to delay another day. So we put a Cooper tire because that's what got us back on the road. It was a your brand that was inspected and declared defective. And now all... Read more

We have a two month old 2016 Honda HRV. Today the left rear tire blew out on Interstate 35 in Texas. The car has only 3,400 miles on it. The car came equipped OEM with Michelin. The Honda Dealership (GUNN Honda in San Antonio) says it's not their problem. I called Michelin who told me to ship the damaged tire to them and they'll decide how much they'll cover. I always thought Michelin was the best of the best. I guess I was wrong. I'm just... Read more

Traveling to Indiana from Maryland on Pilot Sports a/s plus on a 2008 Mercedes Benz E350 Right rear tire disintegrated at 72 MPH. Full set of tires purchased at NTB in 10/15. Michelin covered replacement under warranty. Manager indicated that this was a common occurance?!! My 2006 SL 500 had belt failure in both inner walls one month ago with less than 25k miles. Replaced those with same product. Very concerned about safety of this product!!! Read more
