I have 4 Michelin P235/70 R16 on my 2004 Ford explorer. The manufacture date is 2012 DOT B37P J7HX 3312. They are pitting. It looks like little pieces have been gouged out of the rubber. There is VERY little wear on these tires. Maybe 10,000 miles. I've NEVER had tires do this on ANY of my vehicles whether car, SUV or motorcycle. Since the tires were on it when I bought the vehicle, I don't have the necessary paperwork to file for warranty... Read more

Purchased 4 tires in May. In July, I had the passenger side rear replaced because of sidewall cracking. Dealer said that we must of hit curb so we paid 30% and he replace tire. In Aug, the other side showed what appeared to be cracking and a bulge. Took it back for inspection and dealer said we must of hit curb so replacement cost is now %60 of the tire. We have been driving for 35 years, have had other tires and these are the first tires we... Read more

I bought 4 Michelin Premier LTX A/S 109H tires for a 2011 Acura MDX. at 16,000KM, 2 tires wer down to the wear bar, despite tire rotation as prescribed by manufacture at 5202 and 16,208 KM. now the 2 good tires have lost an additional 1/32 of tread on 697 km. I cannot believe how fast the tires are uniformly failing with the manufacturer not standing behind them. Paid over 1100 new for the tires, having to replace 2 and now concerned will have... I have a Lexus GS F which is an $85.000 dollar car with 6,400 miles on it and the sidewall has a defect. I called three Lexus dealers and no one would cover this. They recommended me calling your 1-800-847-3435 Michelin Customer Service. So the closest distributor to me was Sams Club. They would not cover this, but the Sams Club Manager said this was really unsafe to be driving. So he said I should order a tire and turn the receipt to... Read more

Bend over because you are screwed! You took the words right out of my mouth Spokane. I spent a grand on four Michelin "Cross Terrain" A/S p235/70R16 radial tires at Costco in August 2010. They were for a 2004 Ford Explorer I inherited. Fast Forward six years, 2 weeks, and 22,681 miles and they have become unsafe, dangerous, and two of them wont hold air for very long. These were 60,000 mi rated tires that had at least 50% of the original tread... Read more

I am done buying Michelin tires. In my experience they never last as long as advertised. My latest mistake Michelin Defenders will be deemed unsafe at 34,000 miles. The company claims they are 90,000 mile tires. I have purchased countless Michelins over the years... never again. These were purchased at Discount Tires and they will give me at least 50% of the purchase price of the tire on the next set of tires. This is better than nothing but... Read more

I leased a 2016 ford cmax with michelin energy tires. 300 miles right front tire completely desinagrated. 1800 miles left rear tire blew out. Don't dare to drive this car with these tires. Dealer is paying the cost to replace all 4 tires. Unfortunately they are replacing the tires with the same brand.

My new Chevy came with four brand new Michelin tires. With less than 18,000 miles and perfect tread all four have extreme dry rot. I took my car to five different tire dealers and they all said they were defective tires and they've never seen anything like it. They all insisted I contact Michelin and get a credit toward some new tires. I think you know the rest of the story. Michelin did nothing. I'm just glad I got an oil change and the... Read more

DO NOT BUY MICHELIN or their PRODUCT LINE !! You : This is the follow up / current situation in dealing with these *** tires on my truck, that could have killed me and dealing with Michelin, whom I previously expressed was being so upright and honorable. Michelin tricked me into believing these were not their tire, although Sport King A/T is a "Medalist" tire and therefor, is Michelin. They made this pos in Korea and are trying to avoid... Read more

HAVE 4 MICHELIN TIRES THAT CAME WITH THE LEASE ON A 2014 ATS. WITHIN 1 YEAR AND 5,500 MILE 4 TIRES FAILED DUE TO SEPERATION OF THE SIDEWALL FROM THE RIM. MICHELIN REFUSES TO WARRANT THE TIRES AND THE DEALER CLAIMS IT IT IS MICHELIN'S PROBLEM AND LEAVES THE CONSUMER PAYING $1200 FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIALS. CALLED MICHELIN 5-6 TIMES WITHOUT RESOLUTION. THEN REQUESTED THE INVOICES, SENT THEM THE INVOICES STILL NO ACTION. TOOK THE CUSTOMER CARE... Read more
